CHAPTER ONE DAY CENTRE

We endeavour to provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for all disabled young person's attending our setting.
Chapter One Day Centre is open for disabled children and young people with special education needs and disabilities in the age group of 5 to 18 years of age. We offer a range of support levels, this includes 2:1, 1:1 and group support.
Our day centre offers a supportive and enjoyable experience for children and young people with disabilities. It provides a chance for them to engage in exciting activities while their families take a well-deserved break.
We provide comprehensive packages of support that are tailored to each young person. Most of these young people have support needs identified, which we will tailor and make more direct and approachable to achieve the outcomes set for that young person.
Please note that for our new young people joining our centre we will require permission from parents/carers to undertake a school visit before your child can attend the centre or equally a stay and play session can be arranged at a convenient time at the centre so we can get a good understanding of your child’s support needs.
Creating a home from home experience for our young people.
The centre will be an early help short breaks centre for young people aged 5-18 years of age providing targeted, effective help and support for vulnerable children and their families.
Bringing together services that strengthens families by providing much needed support for young people with complex needs and disabilities
We aim to engage young people in positive activities, positive behaviours, and an all-round positive experience.
The centre will be run with the aim to provide services that families require. If families need evening support, or time to carry out every day activities that seem difficult with a young person, the purpose of the centre is to alleviate some of those worries giving families and carers freedoms taken for granted.
